Great video. I worked there from 1997- 98 during the decommissioning from closed down Army Fort to Community. I also used to play golf there. It’s a beautiful area.
Saaadni! Madad! Hosay in Shiraz is boring for the Bab! Zindagi Zindabad
Nice video, but try to keep your distance from wildlife. It's the main reason we can't fly drones in national parks
Was there wildlife in the video?
@@GeoHov Yes, the waterfowl. Just a suggestion.
You should come back and make another video. There is a lot more new construction now. Soon, the high rise will be gone.
Love it George! thanks for sharing with us!

I grew up in Hubbard Woods as a kid, just north of Winnetka and Wilmette. Some of the happiest memories of my life and in my opinion this is one of the nicest places to live on the planet. So green and with the lake nearby for summer boating and fun, and it's cool that you can see the skyline of downtown Chicago in the distance but it's so accessible by road or rail. Wonderful place.
Yeah wow very nice
I live near here, I know how to get on the roof
How?!
See the small triangular shaped cut out in the middle of the screen at 1:44, if you walk over into that part, there are a bunch of pipes small pipes that lead up to the roof, you can climb up there. I haven’t done it yet but I’ve been on the roof of so many other buildings that I can pretty much figure out which ways are possible just by looking. There is just to much security here to do it without getting caught, they have 24 hour security inside the building
I looked up my town and all shows up is that bus wreck from 1995 finally some different video
Same
Man, the memories, we lived s of there about 100 yards or so, last street to the ravine areas and forest too. Brothers and I used to skip the beach and go straight down our way to water. Awesome times. Anyone remember the movie theater on post? Ice skate park, library? I will never forget this place. My Mom Helen, Dad, uncle Jim and aunt Phyllis. Sgt Jim Brown, (godfather)
I PRAY FOR YOU, KENOSHA.
Looks like a nice suburb town, so many trees!
Where are the people? So few people on the streets. Looks like the town is under corona lockdown
I didn't realize there are so many trees there in Fargo. Was hopingb to get a glimpse of the Fargodome, but I don't think I saw that area of Fargo.
Are there any outdoor drive-in movie theater's in the area?
Robert Dubisar Go to Yelp.com and put that in
Bend, Oregon has a lot of diagonal parking like that, too in it's old town part of town, specifically N.W. Wall and N.W. Minnesota. N.W. Wall is the west bound street, while N.W. Minnesota is the east bound street. I've never liked diagonal parking.
I am not from Fargo/Morehead,. I was born in Dickinson, obviously the other side of the state. But, I would get a total kick out of someone asking where Fargo would be found. Some people are just way too sheltered, to not know that Fargo/Moorehead are very thriving cities in the upper midwest. If I'm not mistaken, for all you people who live in the Fargo/Moorehead area, isn't the population somewhere around 250,000? Hell, even Grand Forks, just up the road on I-29, is a whole lot bigger than it was 30-40 years ago. Even tho I've been living here in Oregon for 40 plus years, I've NEVER forgotten that my roots are based in North Dakota. Also, as a side note the half mile dirt track was raced on by none other than A.J.Foyt, back in the 60's and early 70's. A.J.Foyt of NASCAR fame. Did that half mile dirt track finally get paved?
No, it hasn’t!😊
I can see why they picked Sunshine Coast, BC Canada to film a movie that takes place in this area! The resemblance is stunning, so pretty!
Raft island + deadmans
Hi Geo, can I use some of this video for a story I'm doing on some guys mopping around the country and stopping in Kenosha today for Spectrum News1 Wisconsin?
Yes. Let me know if I can see it on UA-cam
I live in the Fargo/Moorhead area
Class of ‘97 whoop whoop!
Wow! Love these videos and I think this one is the best one yet. Incredible footage. Wondering - Do you ever take on commercial projects?
I could. I think it is the best one too. Notice the people at the top of the bridge, they paid $300 to walk up there.
@@GeoHov Is there a good email to reach you at? Or could you email me at chris@mediumraresizzle.com?
@@christopherobrien9767 Chris, I'm sorry this reply is a year late. I just saw your email.

I live there in wilmette and played at gilson
Nice roads up there they have support there football and coach.
gorgeous
My older-brother Kevin and his wife Amara are living in Fargo, North-Dakota right now. And when I go and visit them and if I decide I like it well enough, I will consider living there part-time with them.
Was great to meet you today in Gig Harbor. Thanks for sharing your videos.
Let's get together in town sometime
Thanks for viewing my videos.
Ohhhh Yahhh, Yur darn tooti"n 😃👍
Fargo is the only place where Travel Agencies and free to offer trips to Antarctica as a "Tropical Get Away"
It is a lovely, and melancholy little city
Muy lindo algún día espero ir a conicer
What a beautiful way to showcase Gig Harbor!!
I’ll be moving here May 1st
Geo Hov that sucks. You should try the Key Peninsula or somewhere you can take a shit without your neighbors posting about it on facebook.
Was in March
Just curious what month of the year this was filmed. Thanks.
GRAN-PA You Has a map ?ohohohohoh
Does anyone know how to move from Fargo to Grand forks by bus or train? Thank you
You can’t fly drones in state parks
Carter Clark Strange, it flew fine.
Geo Hov it’s against FAA Rules to operate In the park but if you are outside the park it’s okay
Is a state wildlife/recreation area not a park
Cool video. I film in Wrightsville Beach NC all the time. ua-cam.com/video/Rl4bfgBa-oI/v-deo.html
Scary how few people there are
Go to an event there, like a football game, you'll probably even get anxiety
Al Dusty True 😂
köszönöm
